Happy Birthday Pony! Hardtail?...don't know about that, with back aches and such...
houla oui, je me souviens du démontage... et la façon dont Big Mama démonte ses clignotants. ;)
Bon anniversaire A cette bécane qui commence à vraiment avoir de la gueule.
Hello Guys,
yes i want a rigid frame for my bike (hope in 2014, 2013 will be "death by taxes Vive la France" :/)
After test the rigid bike of Marco, i discover that my bike is uncomfy as a rigid so why not ?
I'm so motivated to get a rigid that i do abds to protect my back :)
Coucou Sylvain, quelle rigolade dans le garage grand moment sous tes yeux incrédules ha ha ha !!! Le Nico et le Marco sont deux bons zinzins !!
Well, hope they fill potholes in France better than they do here, haha. Why not?, you are young, and not as brittle and wasted as old Larry. To tell you the truth I'm going to build a '50's hardtail Triumph 650, with the left over parts from my swingarm projects. Funny thing is, I'm probably too tall to fit it properly. At least I'll look cool, right?
@Hairy Larry : Woo Hoo i'm so enthusiast about your trumpet project.
I think rigid frame is the thing for tall people as I. Because you are sit lower on the bike. So visualy it's ok. After you can deal the thing with a lower tunnel gas tank, a high handlebar etc ... no ? That's what i would do with mine.
I had choose a 10 inches long handlebars and will change my peanut tank with high tunnel by a low when i will had money.
WLP is building an older big twin chop project, and I believe he is going with a 'bolt-on' hardtail that gives him the option of going back to a swingarm configuration if he ever so decides to in the future. I can't remember the name of the hardtail maker right now..(you can check his older posts, or ask him...), and I don't know if anything like that is available for Sportsters. My chopper knowledge is about 30 years or more out of date...getting old..hahaha...
