Did you ever read Gibert Sheldon's 'Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers', Olivia? One episode in particular I loved...when Freddy buys a 'chopped Hog' with a foot clutch and suicide shift...won't give away the ending of that one...
@hairy larry : i must found this story :) Btw, with bike i truly discover that you always adapted yourself to all the modifications. Just you must be more concentrate the first runs. If only it could be the same which some high heels :)))

As a bike mechanic, I was always having to adapt to many various bikes...but can't say I ever tried it with high heels on...
